Looks like the weather will break tomorrow...winds have been pretty crazy...15 to 20 knots. We are only going 12 miles, but I'm at the mercy of a very cautious captain! It should be so much fun anchoring out...we are headed to a sweet, little cove near Honey Harbour called Frying Pan Bay...hoping to get some serious fishing in...I decided "frying pan bay" got its name because of all the trout one can catch there...you know, and fry it up in a pan...one can only hope! Anyway, we will be away from email and Internet connections for a week or so...(what will I do?) cell phones should work fine...if you really miss us, just call.

I just found you last night but our family spent a night moored between you and Southern Comfort in Lakefield. We were the houseboat. I don't believe I met Michele but I had a conversation with Chip and Guy before we headed out in the morning and appreciated your help with our lines. We're enjoying your blog and keeping up with you on the trip. Hell's Gate was a bit tricky eh? Did you see St. Peter on the Rock? We were back in Lakefield two days later with more loopers and also shared the dock with the HUGE tour boat. Did you see that thing? We wouldn't have wanted to meet it in the canal going out of Lakefield. Sorry, about the engine mishap but we are praying for your safety as you travel on. Michele I believe God has His purposes in everything as well. We'd love to hear from you when you're back on-line.
